does this deck have the same concave as the Hosoi monk?
NHS Fun Factory replied
They have the same concave but the size of the board makes a fairly significant difference.

Our smaller reissues (like the Monk) have a bit less concave than our bigger boards.

Basically if its shorter (like under 30 inches in length) its going to have a flatter nose. If its narrower its going to have slightly less depth in the concaves on the side.

The Street Creep is actually pretty long and wide so it has a really solid, old school style deep concave and a nice kicked up nose.

I actually have this exact deck as a cruzer and love it. The Roskopp, Slasher and the Street Creep seem to have the most concave out of our reissues. I would say the Monk and the Grabke seem to be more of the mellow side... even though we use the same concave mold for all of them, the shape and size of the board affect how steep and deep it really gets.

Hope that helps!

Will 1/2 inch risers, Indy 169's, and the OJ D Peters wheel, or rat bones suffice for a good set up?
NHS Fun Factory replied
With the 62mm Peters wheel you could even run 1/4 inch risers and not have to worry about wheelbite. Not sure about the Rat Bones since we don't know what size they are...

I'm just getting back in since the early 90s, I'm 6'2", size 14 shoe and 230 lbs. Want to ride pools again, how's this looking for me with 169s? Not sure about wheels, OJs?
NHS Fun Factory replied
looking good so far.
I would put some 61mm Oj team riders on there.
Get some 1/8" risers and 1.25" hardware too.

good to go!
