i'm trying to decide between this and the land shark. i plan on using it for transport and chasing my kids. is there an advantage of one over the other? (used to skate "normal" boards and longboards). thanks!
NHS Fun Factory replied
Both are excellent transportation and ride very smooth/turn amazing.

Personally, I'd get the 5 ply because it has more of a tail and is a bit more stable but I should mention that the land Shark is a customer favorite for sure.

I'm looking to buy my first board and I've been looking at this one and the MAHAKA BLUE CRUZER. I'm 5'5-5'6 and like 98lbs. Which one would be best to get as my first board to learn on?
NHS Fun Factory replied
Both would be excellent. Both are very smooth, stable and great for beginners.

The Mahaka might be a bit easier to learn on since it is longer and more stable.
