Quality wheels and super comfortable for the rough scottish terain in livingston, only criticism I can make is chunks get torn out at high impact, on my skate home I was hit at low speed by a delivery truck I only suffered minor injuries but was heartbroken to find one of my less than a week old clouds had a chunk torn out and are almost unskatable I cannot say its a common situation but I along with my leg was run over and didn't hold up very well although I can't think of many things that would, too expensive to buy another set when I only need one wheel so ill be skating the knarled up one with the rest for a while which will take away from the experience, thanks guys good while it lasted!

however if you live a climate with harsh winters as I do these wheels are great.. yes the are less forgiving on tricks... however can still pull flip and shuv trick variations with little trouble you have to land straight.. and nose and tail slides are hard to pull off.. but i am willing to sacrifice this for the extremely high quality ride these wheels provide... you go much farther, faster and never have to worry about rock stop... ricta has tight quality control which means the eurathane is a very consistant density and worth the extra money unless your blunting or nose slidein everywhere.. in which case go buy some 15 dollar wheels to destroy..if access to smooth surfaces is limited where you skate these are a must

I'm just getting back into skateboarding after several years (like 20). I will probably do mostly cruising with the occasional visit to a skate park to ride some of the bowels (pretty tame stuff). Would these be a good wheel for getting back into the game?

Yes Sir.

A more than perfect wheel to "get back into the game".

Is there any way I can fix the gashes in my clouds wheels?
NHS Fun Factory replied
No...
its urethane

clouds are mainly for cruising around on..
when you start doing grinds and other tricks the wheels catch on and grip to ledges and curbs making the wheels gash out
