and what does inane-a-thane mean? do they thane when you slide?

They are great for sliding. 'Thane is short for urethane. What skateboard wheels are made of.

they are very fast in the bowl ,hard enough to slide,but a little bit softer than most , a pefect blend , thank you oj for making a awesome wheel!

They are a little harder than a soft cruiser wheel. Better for ramps and parks.
