How does it decrease board breakage
NHS Fun Factory replied
Most boards tend to break in the same place. Near the back truck on the wheelbase side of the base plate. Usually the break begins where the sharp edge of the bottom of the baseplate bites into the deck.

The Krux forged baseplate is rounded out at that spot on the bottom of the baseplate so it won't bite in. The result is that your board will have a little more room to bend on heavy landings and won't have the baseplate cutting into the deck and making it prone to cracking when all the pressure is placed there.

Also, it is a bit curved from above so it isn't a straight across line that bites into the board. Most baseplate are a rectangle and also make it break in that same spot.

can that be that the downlows are normally mid trucks cuz 52mm is pretty high for low trucks ?
NHS Fun Factory replied
