149 = 8.25 DECK right?
Im currently using 139s on an 8.18 deck and want to go a little bigger.

Thanks,

Wendell
NHS Fun Factory replied
No. 149's are 8.5 inches wide.

8.25 is one of those sizes that's right in between.

You can ride 149's on an 8.25 and they will be a little bigger than the board but not much.

You can also use 139's on an 8.25 (that's the size most 8.25 riders use)they will be a little smaller than the board but not much.

I ordered the 159s for a 9" old school shape deck. Are the 149s going to be to small for a 9" board? I might what to down size the board later to a 8.75 or a 8.5 and I would think the 159 will be to big... Stuck!
NHS Fun Factory replied
It really depends on the shape. Most old school decks taper in quite a bit in places. For possible downsizing and because they still work with a 9 I think 149's are a good choice.

Keep in mind 159's are only 1/4 on an inch bigger than 149's. That's only 1/8 inch longer on each side.

NHS Fun Factory replied
Both are great for all types of skating. Great for transition.
