What reynolds trucks would you suggest for a 8.25 board..ive ridden the regular stage 9's for awhile now and want to upgrade
NHS Fun Factory replied
Either 139's (8 inches wide) or 149's (8.5 inches wide). 8.25 is right in between those 2 sizes. Most folks tend to go with the 139's because you won't see the axle sticking out at all.

Some folks like having 149's for the extra grinding surface and the axle nut is really only slightly visible when looking down at your board.

Also, I'd say if you're planning on doing more flip tricks and technical skating to get 139's.

If your going to be doing more grinds or transition skating then go with the 149's.

Both will work great either way but those are the slight differences that 1/2 inch in size makes.

Hope that helps!

with hollow kinping or not?
NHS Fun Factory replied

Will a 8.25 board work well too with 149 trucks?
NHS Fun Factory replied
They will work fine although the trucks will be just slightly wider than the deck.
