so aside from the durometer... are the low mediums a different or (smaller?) shape than the standard mediums?

Yes, they are shorter and designed to fit in the lows only.

I have Indy Stage 10 low's and replaced the stock bushings with Bones Mediums (just the smaller top bushings in both hanger and baseplate). They didn't work at all well and the turning response was poor at best, decided that i wouldnt bother until Bones make 'low' specific bushings, so got these in low expecting them to be similar to e stock ones and they're incredible.
Completely different feel to the stock bushings, they make your trucks come alive!
I won't be bothering with Bones even if they do bed up making low's, that's how great these are!
As mentioned elsewhere, why THESE little rubbery bits of gold aren't stock is beyond me...

Can these be used to refurb older Indys? I've got an old Powell deck with the old school truck pattern but it came with Trackers (which have plastic baseplates and SUCK!) I want to find some Stage 7s that still have the old school bolt patter so I don't have to redrill the deck but I'll want to put new bushings, etc. in the old Indy's. Thoughts?

He'll yeah!! After years of paying 10 bux a set for those Bones Mediums, I am done with them. These replacement bushings are the best turn I have ever felt. I slapped them in some brand new 149s on a brand new Saari LOVE. Kicks ass! It would be rad to put see standard in your trucks instead of those stock things. Would be the best product for the customer. But, until then, it's a small price to pay for that kind of turn. They turn sharp with speed and return to center stable. It is a whole different, smoother, control than a bones medium.
